  1. AUSTIN  PRAY WITH THE PLANET! May 5 – May 15240 Continuous HoursAHOP Prayer RoomAustin, Texas TEN DAYS BEFORE THE 1ST PENTECOSTJesus told his followers to wait for the "promise of the Father." But theirs was not a passive waiting -- instead, they waited eagerly by praying earnestly. As they sought God together, their hearts aligned with "one mind" towards the promises of the Kingdom of God that Jesus had taught them. ALMOST 2000 YEARS LATERThe followers of Jesus will again unite in fervent day & night prayer. For ten days & nights leading up to the Global Day of Prayer on May 15, the planet will pray – up to 200 million people! HERE IN CENTRAL TEXAS Should not our voice be joined in with the worldwide chorus? Austin House of Prayer is opening its prayer room in central Austin to the churches in the city and region, inviting individuals, teams, churches & ministries to sign up for sessions from May 5 through May 15. WE NEED YOUR VOICE! Turn this sheet over for details on how you can sign up for one session in the 10 days of prayer leading up to the Global Day of Prayer.

Contact Cathy Tucek512-474-6062 or cathy@austinhouseofprayer.com WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE OF SESSIONS?The 10 days will begin at 6am on Thursday, May 5 and run continuously until 6am on Sunday, May 15. See http://austinhouseofprayer.com for a full schedule. WHAT IS REQUIRED?We ask only three things: 1) Arrive & sign in 10 minutes early 2) Pray scriptural prayers (provided) 3) Bless the leader(s) of the next hour We also encourage you to attend one of two orientation sessions (March 26 or April 30) at AHOP to help prepare you for your session. WHAT TYPES OF SESSIONS?For our one-hour sessions (between 6am and 6pm each day) you can sign up for personal prayer (1 person), team prayer (2 or more), or silent prayer (hour of silence). We also have evening sessions (6pm – 10pm) for larger groups from churches and ministries, and lock-in night watch sessions (10pm – 6am) for youth & college groups. WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE?All sessions are in the AHOP prayer room to further unify our prayers… “they were together in one place” (Acts 2:1) Note also that on May 15 at 5:00 pmin the Delco Center in NE Austin,there will be acity-wide GDOPprayer gatheringwith thousands fromarea churches.Don’t miss it!
