Schools and Community: 5 + 5 In 2007-2008, to achieve and demonstrate results, the BCP will partner with: • 5 Schools (Boston Public Schools Cluster 7 in Dorchester) Including teachers, administrators, staff, and students • 5 Community Based Organizations(CBO) Including staff, youth, parents, and executive leadership Schools and CBOs will share objectives, language, and operational approaches as they work together to meet targeted results.
Sustainable Initiative In order to achieve its mission and establish a sustained community effort BCP will: • Create a student performance “data feedback system” enabling schools and CBOs to review student performance throughout the year and effectively target resources. • Train and coach CBOs to deliver powerful learning activities that directly address academic and character development proficiency targets.
Measuring Results Campaign indicators used to measure results among targeted youth include: • Academic: • MCAS Scores • Quarterly Assessment Scores • Grades • Character: • Attendance • Volunteerism and Community Service • Incident Reports
