  4. SATISFACTION • Short Term: As long as you feel full Mediate Term: When you receive the grade for this course, you will feel a mixed degree of satisfaction Long Term: When you buy that car or house, you will be satisfied for a long time

  5. MOTIVATION • Personal Goals: Getting educated, falling in love, getting married, raising a family etc. Professional Goals: Career goals- going up the corporate ladder. medium to long term satisfaction Retirement Goals: Long term satisfaction or disappointment.

  6. MOTIVATE-OR • Short Term: Teaching your child to ride a bicycle Medium Term: Instructors ability to keep your attention during the duration of this course. Long Term: Keeping an employee’s interest day after day without a raise in pay

  7. MOTIVATE-EE • Has a varying degree of excitement • Has to share the excitement level of the Motivate-or Needs to keep that excitement level for the same duration as the motivate-or
