RESULTS of many scientific researches into the Holy Qur’an at this age of science and technology have come to prove the validity of the statement of Allah in the Holy Book where He says: “Say: “if the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another” (Quran, Surah 17verse 88)

  3. A recent research conducted by a Muslim scientist has come as part of such discoveries. Dr. Tariq Al-Suwaidan, a well known scholar and notable member of the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan Al-Muslimoon), Islamic Gateway, ummaah.net has conducted a research into words of the Holy Quran. In a release, sent through the internet and read on various websites, the research was based on statistical data of certain words as they occurred in the Holy Book.

The result of the research contains some statistical data that are highly interesting and amazing not only to the Muslims but also to the non-Muslims, especially scholars of science and specialists in statistics. It goes to show that the Holy Book is truly a miracle from Allah Almighty and is beyond human intelligence. The result of his research revealed the following:

Words Al-Shahar Al-Yaom Al-Bahar Al-Bar Meaning Month Day Sea Land No of times occurred in the Qur’an 12 365 32 * 13 * By adding total number of the two words, “sea” and “land” the answer is 45 By the following simple calculation: * 32/45 X 100% = 71.11111111 % * 13/45 X 100% = 28.88888888 % This is what is known today as the percentage of water (sea) and land in the world. It is yet another miracle in the Qur’an

  7. Muslim and non-Muslim scientists have made many scientific discoveries in the Holy Qur’an in the areas of medical, geographical, geological, biological and heroneutical sciences among others. These discoveries has been seen as important sources from which the modern sciences have their roots. On account of these scientific facts, many have embraced Islam as they are undisputable to facts of life.
