Firstly, three major research designs must be analysed, these include: exploratory, descriptive and hypothesis testing. The nature of this study is inductive as it is concerned with generating a hypothesis based on the data collected from the research questions. As opposed to a deductive approach, which is concerned with testing an already established hypothesis (Sekaran & Bougie, 2013). As the nature of the research is inductive, there are two options available in terms of research design; exploratory and descriptive. Exploratory study is research conducted for a problem that has not been clearly defined. It is applied when little is known about a situation or no information is available on similar problems or research issues (Sekaran & Bougie, 2013). As there is an already wellestablished research problem, this method would not be appropriate. Moreover, the previous section of this proposal highlighted information specific to the research problem and examples on similar issues – confirming that exploratory research is not suitable. Contrariwise,
