These are initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling. Initiating The process helps to set a vision of what is to be accomplished. This is where the project’s initial scope is defined, the stakeholders identified and the project formally authorized by the sponsor.Planning Planningis the establishment of the total scope of the project such as the risks, milestones, summary and the budget. Project documents are also developed at a more detailed level (Roseke, 2016). A significant concept here is that the team is able to think the whole project through in advance.
