  5. Proposed Solution • We are establishing a fish pond to help produce more fishes in order to reduce the protein deficiency in the nation and also minimize malnutritional diseases. • [Additional details] • Provide cheaper fresh fish options • Community engagement • Research facility

Next Steps: Activities • Short-term (Aug - October): • Remove water from pit • Fix inlet and outlet pipes • Pond fertilization • Stocking of the pond • Long-term: • Construct dam for fresh water supply • Pond Maintenance • Feeding and oxygenation of stock • Pest and disease control • Sensitization of team members to act as extension workers • Security
