International Expansion Discussions • Ann reported for Greg that both him and Peter Robinson (OneSteel) attended the recent MESA North American P2E conference in Orlando and will report back to the Australian Working Group (AWG) at their second meeting on October 27th. This meeting will be a Web meeting. • While at the NA Conference Greg and Peter meet with Jan Snoeij, MESA European Chair and EMEA Expansion Committee Chair, to discuss the experiences from the various working groups in EMEA - how they work, what type of meeting they have, etc. • Schedule Semi-Annual Face-to-Face Meeting • Committee agreed the goal should be to plan a MESA APAC Conference in 2010. • In 2009, the group hopes to meet face-to-face. • ACTION ITEM: An e-mail will be sent the committee members asking for suggested locations. Strategic Initiatives - Guidebooks • Katie announced the MSI Guidebooks for the current Strategic Initiatives are due to be launched in the beginning of November. She reminded everyone the Guidebooks will be living documents, constantly being updated. • ACTION ITEM: Ann is to contact John D. to determine how regional working groups can add to the living guidebooks and what new Strategic Initiatives will be addressed in 2009, then update the Committee. • The Real-Time Enterprise • Lean Manufacturing • Quality and Regulatory Compliance • Asset Performance Management • Product Lifecycle Management MESA International working group Australia
