  2. General Classroom Policy • My job is to teach… • Your job is to learn… • Allow me the freedom to do my job and you’ll have the freedom to do yours!

  3. General Grading Policy • I will adhere to the standard district grading scale (A- 90%, B- 80%, C- 70%, etc.) • Grades will be determined by total points awarded, valued based on importance • For example: HW assignment = 4pts., a quiz =12 pts., a test or paper = 40 pts

  4. General Grading Policy • Homework, projects, papers, etc., are expected to be turned in on the day they are due. • Hard copy is always preferred unless otherwise noted.

  5. Course Skills • We will be working toward making you all more effective communicators. • Writing • Reading • Speaking • Listening
