  1. Paignton Zoo This is a PowerPoint about the events on the Wednesday of our residential week.On Wednesday we went to Torquay museum then we went to Kent’s Cavern

  2. Torquay Museum On Wednesday morning we went to the museum. This is one of the oldest museums in Devon. It was built in the 1840’s. It has interesting geological displays.

  3. In the afternoon we went deep underground. This is a map of Kents Cavern The lines show where we went

  4. In Kent’s Cavern lots of skeletons and teeth have been discovered

  5. in the gift shop We came out of the cave but we could not go in the gift shop because the bus was waiting for us – shame!

  6. When we got back to the hotel we walked a few metres to the beach and played a game of rounders. We started on the sand but the tide was coming in so we played on the green above. Lots of tourists watched us and shouted encouragement!

  7. For our evening session we had great fun making fimo badges

  8. When we returned to the hotel some people were tired but we stayed up for a while and watched Truckers, based on Terry Practchett’s story.
