Log in at: https://je-s.rcuk.ac.uk/eforms/secure/login.asp • You need to be registered and have a current Username and Password • No forms to download or format • Online applications allow multiple people to view and edit a form • The form is basically the same for all applications
Obtaining a new password for an existing account If you are not sure if you are already registered contact Jayne Cottee on jbcottee@essex.ac.uk or extension 2167
Creating your application If you are not sure if you are already registered contact Jayne Cottee on jbcottee@essex.ac.uk or extension 2167
Assigning edit rights You will need to grant edit rights to: Jayne Cottee; Sarah Manning-Press, Ben Morrison and Lucy Ballard – and your Funding Development Manager, if you would like their input with your proposal
Procedures • Allow enough time to prepare your application – it takes longer than you think. • The REO will tell you when to submit and what to do: you, your Departmental Submitter and the REO press ‘submit’ buttons to send it electronically to the Research Council. • If Je-S becomes locked call Jayne Cottee on extension 2167 to release it
And finally… The post-award aspect of a successful application is also dealt with on Je-S, which includes: • The completion and submission of final reports • Expenditure statements
