From a Good Idea to a Competitive TUES Type 1 Proposal… • Almost every proposal submitted to the TUES program has at their cores a good idea! • Successful proposals explain and develop those ideas as compelling projects, well-aligned with the objectives of the TUES Program. • Youall have good ideas and are here at this workshop to write a (near) complete draft of your TUES proposal • This workshop will focus on how to go from your template to competitive proposal in time for submission to the next round of the TUES program.
Strands that Run Through an Entire TUES Proposal • Student learning • Budget to accomplish the project and carry out the identified activities • What you want to know (evaluation) and what informs the project (for project improvement and determination of project impact) • Dissemination and community engagement and adoption • Continuation of project beyond period of NSF funding (sustainability)
