The on-line method of delivery adds a method of interactivity that is not available in a course distributed on videocassette.”

  4. Jeff SalterUniversity of South Carolina • The CD/Web version of EDLP J758 is scheduled to be offered in the Spring of 1999. This course has been offered in previous semesters with enrollments averaging about 75 students statewide. • Similar courses that we have offered on VHS tape have required us to mail sets of 6-8 tapes to each student. Converting this course to a CD format with an interactive web site will significantly reduce this cost. • This method of delivery will also overcome the communication barrier that exist between faculty and students in standard VHS courses.
