Over time, interest in the use of these tools has grown and moved: From Researchers (large scale measures of classroom practice) To State Assessment Directors (how do assessments relate to OTL & standards) To State Curriculum Directors (how does instruction relate to standards) To District and School Administrators (how do we bring instruction into greater alignment with standards) And we are now beginning to see potentially powerful uses of these descriptive tools by Curriculum Resource Staff and Teachers themselves.
