Health and Safety • Policies often based upon mobile phone usage • Sometimes a total ban • Sometimes use of “safe areas or special zones” • Or ..treat the device as a “tool” and provide training and design H&S policies for “appropriate use”

BIM in Delivery Working Group Mobility Task Group To research, develop, trial, adopt, and promote appropriate mobility tools, applications, and communication technologies for all sites on the Crossrail project in order to equip Site Based Personnel with adequate information to make informed, accurate and timely decisions.
