Fundamental Principles of Peer Learning 2) Peer to peer learning involves mutual support and exchange of experience and resources where possible, • Inkingi imwe ntigera inzu/ One wall doesn’t make a house 3) It is based on two ways development and reciprocity • Agasozi kamanutse inka kazamuka indi. Fundamental Principles of Peer Learning 6) Targets practical issues pertaining with the current issues and within the local context: • Ijya kurisha ihera ku rugo 7) It involves decision making , problem solving, conflict management, teambuilding skills, requires parity among participants, emotional competencies • Akanwa karya ntiwumve kavuza induru ntiwumve

Therefore • Peer learning among schools is even possible in Rwanda as it is supported by practices, values and beliefs embedded within the local traditions, • Peer learning is more likely implementable when supported by the peer review/ Peer evaluation= carried out by peers, as opposed to by a teacher, supervisor, parent, or expert. Critical friendship • Remain focused on pupils’ learning achievements, • Individual members ensure coordination, network, cooperation, etc…. • Encourages innovation and creativity, • Supported by a friendly monitoring and evaluation mechanisms

What happens today • 30 Schools of Reference are available 1 in each District to facilitate the activities under peer to peer learning; • A flexible action plan is elaborated by schools in the same learning platform at the level of the District upon which learning from each other will be implemented; • Some schools and peer groups demonstrated high commitments than others, • A good number of inivatives practices was identified throughout peer learning sessions; • These include: Study visits, debates and discussions in peer sessions on real life situation, peer reviews, exhibitions, technical works like harmonization of learning assessments tools, strategic planing, establishment of the HTs associations…….

ITORERO Itorero ryari rumwe mu nzego zemewe z’uburezi: • Niho higirwaga indangagaciro na za kirazira zubakaga umunyarwanda mo ubumuntu zikamwubakamo n’ubunyarwanda, • Bigishwaga kumenya kubana n’abandi, kumenya gusubiza vuba kandi neza mu kinyarwanda cyiza, ikinyabupfura, kumenya uko umuntu yitwara imbere y’abo aruta, urungano n’abamuruta

  15. ITORERO • Ingenzi mu ntore nizo zavagamo abayobozi beza n’ingabo z’Igihugu • Aha bemezaga ko umuntu wabaga ataranyuze mu Itorero yabaga afite byinshi atandukaniyeho n’uwarigiyemo, cyane cyane mu rwego rw’ imyumvire, imyitwarire, n’imigenzereze

  16. ITORERO • Intore n’utaratowe babaga batandukanye nk’uko bimeze ubu k’uwize n’utarize. Uwagiye mu Itorero yabaga ajijutse, ashize amanga, azi kuganira neza, azi gusobanura icyo abajijwe, afite uburere n’ikinyabupfura, arangwa n’isuku ku mubiri, • Abatoranywe wasangaga ari inshuti zikomeye, zishyize hamwe ku buryo na nyuma y’ubuzima bwo mu Itorero ubucuti bwakomezaga bitewe n’inyigisho bahabwaga zatumaga bumva ko ubuzima.

UMUGANDA • Mu Rwanda rwo hambere ijambo umuganda ryavugaga IGITI cyakoreshwaga mu kubaka inzu. • Iyo umuntu yagezaga ku myaka yo kubaka urwe, buri muturanyi yazanaga umuganda we, bakamwubakira • Iyo umuturanyi yahishaga inzu cga igasenywa n’ ibiza, abaturanyi bamuhaga umuganda. • Mu muganda, abato bigiraga kubakuru.
