Making Generic Tray Discussion The meeting held at Avago on 2 Feb 2010 and it was discussed between Ding, S H Chan, Vincent (Agavo) and Thomas (Accuratus). The suggestion made during the meeting are as follows: Thomas will list down the issues for the tray. Ambit will check and decide the tolerance of the tray modification. Avago will check the FLT tolerance between the old FLT and new FLT, it is due to there are different between the two parts, although the tolerance control in the drawings are same.
1. The hole was not mention earlier. 2. It can be added for the new tray.3. The Y dimension for the additional holes will be same as the holes at two sides.
1. To make the additional cut out. A new mold block need to be made.2. Additional Cost for making the block.3. The Cut out dimension will be recommended as 5.15mm +/- 0.1mm. The final tolerance will confirm by Ambit.
1. It is almost impossible to make any changes due to the pitch of the FLT Pocket. It will affect the Lens Bonder’s Gripper position.2. Modification of the Laser Making Machine’s track or clamp may be needed.3. Avago and Ambit will need to make the changes.
FLT Dimension Tray Dimension Other issueOrientation control1. The FLT dimension is 1.4mm +/-0.05mm per side, which is 2.8mm +/- 0.1 for both side.2. The Tray dimension is 2.6mm +/-0.1mm.3.
