Measuring Biodiversity Quadrat Sampling A marked square area where species and their numbers are counted. Each quadrant can range from 1m2 to 20m2
Measuring Biodiversity Transect Sampling Done using a transect line. This line is usually a rope or measuring tape that is marked at set intervals. Species and their numbers are counted at every interval.
Measuring Biodiversity Netting Mesh nets are used to capture birds and bats in terrestrial ecosystems. Once captured the organisms are identified and blood is taken if needed.
