Scholarships Bridge Lottery Requirements Diploma from a NM Public or accredited private high school or NM GED Declare FA eligible major Complete 12 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 Have not earned an associates degree Not been awarded scholarship which pays 100% of tuition Requirements • New Mexico Resident • Complete FAFSA • Declare Eligible Major • In Person New Student Orientation • Career Exploration Exercise • Complete 12 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be lottery eligible • Deadline May 1st

  5. Scholarships Lottery cont. • Disability Center Contract • Students without SSN’s need to complete online CNM Scholarship form which will be reviewed by our scholarship department. CNM Scholarship One application for all internal scholarships. Online in February. Foundation Scholarships Available throughout the year as funding is available. STUDENT EMPLOYMENTAllows students to earn money to pay for educational costs • Must be Student Employment Eligible • Have completed FAFSA • Not be suspended • Have unmet need • Enroll in 6 financial aid eligible credit hours Current wages are $8.60 per hour and students can work up to 20 hours per week

Student LoansCurrently involved in Experimental Site InitiativeAllows CNM to determine loan eligibility Dependent Independent Subsidized Freshman $3,500 Sophomore $4,500 Unsubsidized Freshman $4,000 Sophomore $4,000 No Unsubsidized loans for students who need developmental coursework. Subsidized • Freshman $3,500 • Sophomore $4,500 Must have completed FAFSA, not be suspended and be enrolled in 6 financial aid eligible credit hours to apply. Unsubsidized Not eligible unless it replaces subsidized eligibility

  8. VETERANS The Veterans Department located at CNM Main campus is available to serve veterans and their dependents Monday thru Friday 8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.

  9. Satisfactory Academic Progress • Cumulative GPA 2.0 • Cumulative Completion Rate 66.67% • Maximum Time Frame 150% of program • Developmental Hours 30 Maximum paid by financial aid.
