Division Property of Equality Division Property of Equality states that if you divide the same number to both sides of an equation the two sides remain equal.
Multiplication Property of Equality The Multiplication Property states that if you multiply the same number to both sides of an equation the two sides will remain equal.

Who’s the Man? The other day Joshua, Arvin, Khong, and Tony were bragging about how much money they have. They all think they are the “Man”. Joshua told the guys, “Hey, if you take my money and add 658 to it, then you will get $2,674.” Arvin said, “If you subtract 459 from my money you will get $1,558.” Khong said, “If you take 5 times my money you’ll get $10,075.” Tony finished by saying, “Well if you take my money and divide it into 4 groups, you will get $504.”
