  1. WELCOME TO K V HEBBAL • K.V. HEBBAL WAS STARTED IN 1965. • It has classes from I to XII with an enrolment of 2738 pupils. • It offers Science and Commerce streams.

  2. THE EYE CATCHERS • The spacious and naturally well-lit classrooms. • Environment friendly and child safe infrastructure. • The excellent team of teachers and support staff. • The sprawling playgrounds. • The ever green gardens. • Well equipped laboratories and library.

  3. THE RESULTS THAT ENCOURAGE • There has been consistent improvements in the Board Examinations results. • The performance index shows upward trends. • The dropouts in the vidyalaya level examinations are negligible.

CONSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIESUNDERTAKEN BY THE VIDYALAYA • MPs’ Fund under the Local Area Development Programme has been used for erecting two stages in the Vidyalaya with RCC roofing and mosaic flooring. • Twelve classrooms and Laboratories are being constructed to cater to the growing strength of pupils. • Alumni Association of the vidyalaya is now actively involved in providing academic assistance to pupils.

THE EVER SO ACTIVE PRIMARY- SECTION • The Primary is the hub of innovative practices in the entire country. • Four PRTs bagged the KVS award for Innovations and Experimentations in Teaching for 2007 and three for the year 2008. • A PRT was conferred the National Award for 2008. • The Activity Method and Common Minimum Programme are implemented in all earnestness for the benefit of the tiny tots.

  6. THE ACTIVITIES IN THE VIDYALAYA • Literary competitions for students. • Cluster Level, Regional Level and National Level Sports and Games activity for children. • Scout and Guide and other adventure Activities for children. • Field trips and Excursions for Children.

  7. SERVICES TO THE SOCIETY • Sweet and clothes distribution to orphanages. • Voluntary collections for Cancer Patients’ Aid. • Voluntary contributions for Chief Ministers’ Flood Relief Fund.

  8. SCINTILLATING PERFORMANCES IN EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS • At the National level Sports Meet, the Vidyalaya bagged 2 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals. • The Vidyalaya bagged the second prize at the National Level Science Exhibition. • The Vidyalaya Football team bagged the Columbia Asia Cup for the fourth time in a row. • Master Anurag’s Project was adjudged the best by TERI. • Master Suraj Seshadri won laurels in under-15 Cricket Tournament organised in Malaysia. • Master Julius was the only KV Student selected on the basis of his dedicated performance as Tiger Ambassador under the Kids for Tiger Programme. • Two students of our vidyalaya attended the JENESYS programme during 2008. • Sixteen students were selected for NTSE scholarship. • Two students have been selected for KVPY • About 100 students were selected for various professional courses

  9. ANOTHER FEATHER TO THE CAP • K V Hebbal has emerged as one of the top ranked schools in the country. • The Vidyalaya has been chosen for accreditation by the QCI.
