The imago strategy plan • Fundamental purpose of the company is to provide an on-going income stream for the university. • It is a 5 year vision for company. • Concentrates on 6 key factors: Finance customers Staff Marketing Business processes Corporate and social responsibility
Why is it important to have a plan? • It gives the business ‘direction’ • Staff know what is expected of them. • Provides a structure against which progress can be measured. • It helps to support critical key business decisions. • It enables the staff to ‘buy in’ to where the company is going.

How this is communicated. • Each team or department has set objectives. • These are communicated through team staff meetings. • We break down these team objectives to show how the individuals objectives ‘fit in’ • One to one meetings and team meetings with staff periodically through the year.
