What Are We Delivering • As a convener of Interoperability issues • Our community would benefit from being able to test, document, and solve Interoperability issues. • Provide a platform to organize and message out Interoperability Issues • Publish White Papers • User Experiences, Approaches, and Integration of Standardsand Technical Challenges • Industry conference and panel participation • Align to other (OSEHRA) Work Groups/Projects • Develop Tools, Standardized Data Sets and a National Test Lab • The AEGIS Developers Integration Lab (DIL) Project • Support OHT efforts to Standardize National Test Patients • Support VistA Evolution and other SOA architectures Test Interoperability
Convener of Interoperability issues • Interoperability Issues can arise from different sources: • Security Interoperability • Transport Interoperability • Syntactic Interoperability • Semantic Interoperability • Vocabulary and Value Sets • Versioning (any and all of the above)
Publish White Papers • A Collection of our thought process to support and ensure Interoperability • Improve User Experiences, • Share our Collective Approaches, • Integration of Standards, • and Technical Challenges • “Being ahead of a curveball” • How do we find Interoperability issues earlier in our processes?
