The Product • Prepared By: VP of Production • Contains: • A detailed description of your product including: • Product specifications • Key features • Comparisons to similar products • Packaging required • Benefits
Marketing & sales • Prepared by: VP of Marketing • Contains: • Description of target market • Description of competition • Sales strategy • Pricing • Advertising & promotion
Production • Prepared by: VP of Production • Contains: • A detailed description of how your product is produced and/or delivered • Should include details that address: • Time • Packaging • Labeling • Quality assurance
Human resources • Prepared By: VP of Human Resources • Contains: • Details of other members of your company and their functions • Should include details such as: • Skills needed by group members • Wages • Commissions • Training • How you would deal with the loss of members if it occurs

General tips • Keep it simple • Be concise. Only include information that will enhance the reader’s understanding. • Proofread! Proofread!! Proofread!!! • Make the Business Plan look professional (i.e. formatting, use of logo, use of color, binding, font, etc.)
