It wasn’t a true story. We call that fiction. Fiction is when something is imagined or made up.

Here are some things that I learned from the website! Turtles can hide their head inside of their shells. Turtles are notoriously slow movers. Turtles lay eggs.
Do you think what we just read was fact or fiction? If you said FACT, you are right! All of this information about turtles is true!
One of the stories that we read was pretend (or fiction) and the other information that we read was fact. Let’s organize what was fact and what was fiction into a graphic organizer.
