What Good has God Done • Zechariah 5:5. Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, "Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth.'' 6. So I asked, "What is it?'' And he said, "It is a basket that is going forth.'' He also said, "This is their resemblance throughout the earth: 7. "Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket''; 8. then he said, "This is Wickedness!'' And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth. 9. Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. 10. So I said to the angel who talked with me, "Where are they carrying the basket?'' 11. "It shall enter the house of the thief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. • They will set up wickedness • Unjust measurement • Money over people • Selfishness • Pride • Turning the glory of God into shame. • Loving the vain things of life • Seeking falsehood, rejecting truth • This is the world we live in • A time reserved • "To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base.'' • A time that Babylon will take over the earth, with Rome. • That time is very close

The Lord Set Apart for Himself • 3. But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The Lord will hear when I call to Him. 4. Be angry, and do not sin. Selah • We are faced with the fears of life • We read the words of the Bible and we get worried, fearful. • We look around and see the destruction of the family, the disintegration of our society and we want to run away. • We hear stories of pain and hurt we cannot imagine. • We see tragedies unfold on the news or in news papers and we cry what are we to do. • Set apart... • But God has set Himself apart a chosen people. • God has a godly righteous people in mind. • Have you been set apart. • The Lord will hear when I call to Him • When you cry out to God will he listen? • Does He hear your prayers? • The bible says that when you call, He will listen

5. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the Lord. 6. There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?'' Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. • Why with all of the blessings we enjoy, are we unhappy, incomplete and suffering with a big hole in our heart? • Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. • The light of God is the word • Christ came to give us life that we might have it more abundantly. • Christ called us to go forth in confidence and love reaching others in His name • Christ called us to put aside the fears of life because we are eternally safe in His hand • This morning, I am calling on you to give over what you have. • And rest in the love of our savior. • Hebrews 4:9. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. 11. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. • 7. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. 8. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. • We are not joyful because we do not rest in Him • Psalms 9:1. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. 10. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. 11. Selah • Will you trust God this morning? • Will you rejoice in the strength of Christ? • God desires good for your life. • Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
