  2. Future Enviroinfo conferences should have a: • financial account to reduce conference fees and pay travel expenses for highly qualified participants from developing countries, and an • ongoing track of papers to deal with improving the match between: • Data producers • Data users

Future Enviroinfo conferences should provide for: • 3. technology transfer from N to S in ministries of the environment in collaboration with UNEP and other participants such as mapping agencies, some of which have had thus far only other purposes. organizations could serve environmental aims now, and have e.g. biodiversity info. • Provide for better equipment in government as capacity building and teaching/training • Promote collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups. Future Enviroinfo conferences should provide for: • See Annex for details • Our side event in Tunis should focus on N/S capacity building, info. tech. for the S., strengthening ICT capacities in the S. • Regional S-to-S cooperation (in addition to global N/S level, which becomes too abstract) such as NEPAD, groupings in LA with diverse, but more concrete agendas, exchange of lessons learned from them with others
