32. Vinyl (uPVC) windows have been widely favoured throughout Europe for the last 20 years with the use of double glazing. Un-plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) is a rigid plastic which has many benefits as a construction material. uPVC windows have an estimated lifespan of 35 years.
