  4. Wiki’s • What is it? Web-based (24/7 access), collaborative document with “hot” links to information. • How to Use: Can attach images, video, links to personal files or the Internet, widgets and text editing

  6. Glogster • What is it? Online, interactive poster • How to use: Can attach images, video, audio, personal files, graphics, data, personal drawings. **Unlimited creative capabilities**

  8. Digital Timelines • What is it? • Online, interactive timeline of information • How to use: • Can attach images, video, audio, and text along specific dates • Can include concurrent timeline to highlight specific periods in history

  10. Google Earth • What is it? Virtual globe, map and geographic information program. • How to use: - Virtual zooming and gliding over the Earth - Ability to zoom in on specific locations - Can create “Google Tours”

  12. Voicethread • What is it? Online communication/storytelling • How to use: Add text (comments) to a single picture or tell a story through multiple pictures. Can also include background music.

Wordle/Tagxedo • What is it? • generates “word clouds” from text that you provide giving greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text • How to Use? • copy and paste text into the textbox and then select colors, fonts and layout of the final product (tagxedo also allows you to select the shape of the final product)
