  1. Prevent Dangers Of Leaving Your Child Alone In a Car

  2. As a parent, it is your responsibility to always take care of your child and make sure that your child is safe. That being said, you should know the risks of leaving your child alone in the car. Whether you had a long day at work or had too many things on your mind, you should never let or forget your child inside the car.

  3. Even if you think that leaving your child in the car until he or she wakes up is a good idea, you are wrong. According to statistics, 37-40 kids die every year from heat strokes while being trapped inside of a car. Keep that in mind the next time you even think about letting your child sleep inside your car. With that being said, here are a few things that you should always do to prevent your child from being alone in your car.

  4. When you come home from work or from grocery shopping, lock your car doors. Keep them locked and keep the keys somewhere where your child will not be able to reach them. In addition, talk to your kid and explain that going inside your vehicle is extremely dangerous. If your kid is too young to understand, you have to hide your keys or keep them on you at all time.

  5. If your kid gets the keys, he or she may want to play inside your vehicle. However, that could cause the kid to get a heat stroke, die of suffocation or do something as dangerous. In addition, the child may cause the vehicle to go backward, especially if parked uphill. If the car gets hit by another vehicle while going down the hill, contact personal injury attorneys in San Francisco and seek their help in obtaining the compensation for your child’s injuries, assuming that you are eligible.

  6. You have to know your children and their personalities. If they are mischievous, playful and cunning, you have to be smart and find a way to prevent them from entering your vehicle, especially if the outside temperature is more than you can handle. A child’s body heats up three to five times faster than an adult’s body. Their bodies have not yet developed an option to cool down properly, and when exposed to heat, they will warm up quickly. Without water or shade, the child may end up paying the ultimate price.

  7. Another thing that could happen is a car accident. A driver may hit your parked vehicle and injured your child who was playing inside. If that happens, you have to act immediately. Take your child to the hospital, and on the way back, consult with San Francisco personal injury attorney. You may have a claim in hand, without being aware of it. their attorneys will help you deal with the situation.

  8. There are instances of children hiding inside a car’s trunk. If you go to work, your kid may be inside of your trunk, without you being aware of it. Every year, at least one child dies in this way, suffocating in the trunk. Be sure to check your kids before leaving for work, and make sure that they are all inside the house, safe and sound.
