Status of JAXA • 1.1 SLE Service Management • Development of prototype system in JAXA --> Just finished the development. (Except specific schema of “Modulation Type Option”.) • Security method --> Use only XML encryption. --> Need to exchange the Public Key with X.509 Certification by means of e-mail. JAXA will provide it by Oct 12. • Modulation Type Option --> We agreed in September telecon that the modulation type PCM/PSK-PM is added specially and the new schema is provided by JPL. But JAXA thinks now that the additional specific parameters for ALOS is necessary into the schema, so JAXA will coordinate with JPL about it.
1.1 SLE Service Management (Cont.) • Exchange ServiceAgreement --> The parameters of Return and Forward will be exchanged by operations of Service Management, though the transfer service is performed only RAF service. --> At this meeting, we would like to coordinate the uncertain items which of JPL/JAXA provide in service agreement. The items (included JAXA proposal) to be provided by JAXA is shown by Oct 12, and the items by JPL is expected by Oct 19.
1.1 SLE Service Management (Cont.) • Samples --> We will send a actual OEM of ALOS by e-mail on Oct 12(TBD), which was generated by Flight Dynamic. Please check its’ contents. --> The following XML samples generated by JAXA/UMR-1 will be sent by e-mail on Oct 12, but they are not encrypted. Please check them. ATP-I, ACP-I, CSP-I • Requirement --> After all parameters are fixed, we would like JPL to set up the CSSXP by the parameters by around Oct 26.
1.2 SLE Transfer Service • The Version of Transfer Service [ B-1 vs R-2(2000) ] --> Agreed to perform only RAF service in Interoperability test and Shadow track test between JAXA/TKSC and JPL/DSN. • Communication for the Transfer Service --> Scheduled Line Check on Nov 6. • Network Configuration --> JAXA would like to coordinate with JPL directly. ex.) ISDN parameters, IP address, Port Number, etc. -->JAXA proposal is provided on Oct 4. JPL response is expected by Oct 19.
1.2 SLE Transfer Service (Cont.) • Parameters of RAF service --> We sent the parameter sheet for RAF service to JPL on Oct 4, and it includes the parameters which does not appear in service agreement. --> The parameters is necessary to be fixed before the Interoperability Test. • Requirement --> We would like JPL to decide the above parameters of both network and RAF service, and inform to us by Oct 19.
2. Interoperability Test Plan 1) Schedule Table 2-1 Test Schedule(Proposal) NOTE: The working day time is around as follows; JAXA 0030-0845 UT JPL 1700-0100 UT • 2) Confirmation • Is it possible to generate the simulated telemetry data (VCDU) at JPL ? Which equipment generate ? (Ref. Figure 2-1)

3. Schedule JAXA will provide new schedule. According to set shadow track testing on Jan 2008 by 17th Oct.
