Investment priorities: 2. Education and lifelong learning Improving the education and training systems in view of the labour market; improving the school-to-work transition and supporting vocational education and training systems and their quality, including via skills forecasting mechanisms, adaptation of curricula and development of work-based learning systems, including dual systems involving training and apprenticeships Reducing and preventing the number of drop-outs and encouraging equal access to high-quality preschool, primary and secondary schooling, including formal, information and non-formal learning for re-integration in the educational and training system Improving the equal access to lifelong learning opportunities for all age groups in formal, informal and non-formal formats, update of knowledge, skills and competences of the labour force, promotion of flexible learning processes, including via career counselling and validation of competences acquired
