  7. Focus • What part of “behind the scenes” do you want to focus on? • Pick one or two subjects and stick with them • Learn more than is required of those • A leader is always looking for things that need to be done

  8. Do not be a “contractor”

  9. Take steps to learn what you want to learn, not just what is being taught or relying on others

  10. Apply What You’ve Learned • Invest in others with your abilities • New employees? Take them under your wing • Teach all of the little skills
