  1. SCIENCE OLYMPIAD 3 / 24 / 2012 Location: Sac. State Time: 6:30 am – 5:30 pm Transportation: All competitors must be personally transported by family or friends to and from Sac. State.

WHAT TO BRING ON MARCH 24TH • Closed toed shoes • Watch without a calculator • Uniform Shirt • Competitors phones are turned off • Crime Busters / Food Chemistry – Long Pants / hair tied back • Reference binders • Box of event materials • Building events labeled Barrett # 6 in safe container • Folding chair / blanket for awards

  3. FOOD / SNACKS FOR MARCH 24TH COMPETITION • Please sign – up to bring snacks and drinks for the group ( 18 students ) • Food venues will be open during the competition for puchasing lunch on campus.

  4. FIELD TRIP MARCH 22ND( next Thursday ) • Attendance will be excused for the entire school day. • Bring Pencil and $12.00 for Lunch • Leaving Barrett at 9:00 am • Touring Sac. State 9:30 am – 12:30 pm Parking cost $6.00 ? • Fresh Choice Lunch 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm • Box Packing at Barrett 2:00 pm - ?

  5. UPCOMING PRACTICES • Churchhill – This Sunday 1 pm – 4 pm • Barrett – This Sunday 1 pm - 4 pm • Regular after school practice in room 18 and room 20 until March 22nd.

  6. STUDY GUIDES AND REFERENCE BINDERS MUST BE COMPLETE MY MONDAY MARCH 19TH!!!!!!!!!! Mrs. Irvine and Mrs. Book will be checking them next week.

  7. STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Location: College of the Sequoias 9155 Mooney Blvd. Visalia, Ca 93277 Material Transport Team: We will need parents to help prep and transport event materials and boxes to the competition Cost: See flyer for hotel block reservation. Cost of Trip will be approximately $ 300.00 ( hotel, gas, food )

  8. IF WE QUALIFY FOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS • NorCal State Championship are April 14th • Travel Day will be Friday, April 13th • Hotel reservations must be made by 29th of March to receive price break at Hotel ( Holiday Inn in Tulare ) • Hotel Cost = 75.00 with Tax • Hotel Breakfast Cost = 10.00 Person at Hotel • 7 Minutes from College of Sequoias • Hotel flyer will go home next week
