Biography • Attended St. Peter’s Boarding School in Panchgani, India at the age of 7. • First piano lessons • Received the nickname “Freddie”

Biography • 1963 – Family fled Zanzibar during the Zanzibar Revolution and moved to Great Britain.

I did that on the guitar, which I can't play for nuts, and in one way it was quite a good thing because I was restricted, knowing only a few chords.
