  2. Adjure Verb: to command solemnly under or as if under oath or penalty of a curse Example: He adjured his followers to remain faithful to the cause.

  3. Adroit Adjective: having or showing skill, cleverness, or resourcefulness. Example: The adroit sniper hit her target from 2 miles away.

  4. Largesse Noun: extreme generosityor nobility of spirit. Example: He relied on the largesse of friends after he lost his job.

  5. Entreat Verb: to plead with especially in order to persuade Example: I entreat you to help me.

  6. Peril Noun: Exposure to harm or injury. Example: The sea brings great perils to those who venture to her at night.

  7. Interred Verb: Buried in the earth. Example: These two skeletons were interred 300 years ago.
