  2. Why am I taking Tech? Nothing I hate more in the world than math class, so coming to City-As-School I really thought I could avoid it, but after my credit evaluation The only classes I really needed to take turned out to be; math. So on Tuesdays and Thursdays I come into school and I have Geometry, Algebra, CUNY Math, and last but not least Tech! Tech isn’t really math but its going toward my math credits. Well I can’t say I’m happy about any of my class but the fact that we use DIG/IT makes just a little more worth it.

  3. What is DIG/IT? “DIG/IT (pronounced “dig it”) is your adventure in digital life. The DIG/IT web environment is a social and fun community learning space designed to support Digital Literacy, a course for learning about digital citizenship as you Live, Learn, Earn, and Play online and in the world beyond high school. DIG/IT will help you get ready for college and careers and give you relevant,in-demand skills that will help you no matter what next steps you take in life.”

  4. How do we use DIG/IT in class? • Instead of the standard class work and participation methods we use DIG/IT. • DIG/IT is what we use as class work. • Based on how many quests we complete that reflects our participation.

  5. How do I feel about DIT/IT? DIG/IT is the easiest part of my day. Not to say that its not challenging because it is the quests really make you think. What I really like about DIG/IT is that it makes behave more maturely online. Instead doing the adolescent thing and typing “idk” I now say “I don’t know”. I can type an email in full sentences and now care about proper punctuation which I never did before
