  2. September Update • Project Management Team appointed a Project Manager • Panui Team – Myself, Ron, Hone - Published our first panui - Email, post, Wairarapa Moana Mailer • Hui a Iwi – 5th Nov • A Registration team has been formed with Kahu Pene, Hone Oneroa and Pani Himona

Mandating TeamIan Perry , Pani Himona, Hayden Hape, RangimarieTaite and Myself • This has been speeded up with employment of the Trust Interim Lawyer • Working through issues takes time - Term Raupatu, Te Poho o Tutawake, • NB the lawyer has suggested an alteration of the terms for the initial Trustees from 1 year to 2 from the time Trust is mandated

  4. Mandating Hui • Stage 2 Funding Round • 12 hui – Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington, Greytown, Masterton, Dannevirke, Mangakino, Palmerston North, Rotorua Hastings/Napier, Hamilton, Auckland

  5. Whakapapa Research Team • NKKWTNAR Trust has written an engagement Policy with Rangitane • OTS were so impressed that they had the two Trust meet in Wellington at their office and all Trustees present signed the policy • We asked them to keep it low key as we needed to; - tell our people first - deal with our own issues - get a mandate from the people
