  2. Adulterate • V.- To make impure by the admixture of other or baser ingredients • He was beginning to adulterate the mixture with his juice.

  4. Aggrandize • V.- To cause to appear greatly • For years the T.A.K.S test was aggrandized, even though it was full of simple questions

  5. Albeit • Conj.- Even though • He went through with his stunt albeit the risk.

  6. Alluvion • N.- Flood • Long before the alluvion came about the family prepared for the devastation to follow.

  7. Annals • N.- A record of events in their chronological order, year by year. • His name shall be cemented in the annals of history.

  8. Apostate • Adj.- False • Although the news tend to tell it “how” it is, their information can often be apostate.

  9. Beck • V.- To give signal to, by nod or gesture • He decided to beck by posing in the most profane manner imaginable.
