LinkedIn • Video – What is LinkedIn? • Category: Social Networking • “facebook for professionals” • Connects you to current colleagues, former colleagues, potential colleagues • NCDA “group”; “Answers” • Job postings; see changes in jobs • Contact info. more current than rolodex • Apps. enhance experience (events; pres.)

Twitter • Video – What is Twitter? • Category: Microblogging • Short bursts of info = “tweets” • Connect you to what YOU find interesting • Connect your followers to what THEY find interesting • Messages – no more than 140 characters • “Details” pane - more info; embedding • Example – U.S. Conference of Mayors

  6. YouTube • Category: Video sharing • Upload videos of your CD Week events, PSAs, workshops, etc. • Watch other organization’s videos • Add “favorites” to watch again • Receive links to suggested videos • Create YouTube “channels” • Examples: City of Quincy & Great video
