Seasons in Cyprus SPRING TIME (February-April) In springtime the island of Cyprus takes on an enchanting beauty. The countryside is set ablaze as glorious wild flowers and flagrant blossoms burst into life to delight the eye with their stunning colours. In fact with over 1.500 different species of flowers, Cyprus is a paradise for nature lovers. As the days lengthen and the sun gathers strength, Cyprus enters an idyllic season for walks, leisurely picnics and the fascinating contemplation of nature, not forgetting, of course swimming and sunbathing. SUMMER (May-October) The climate of Cyprus never fails to delight her visitors, and every season has a charm and beauty of its own. In Cyprus’ Summer, sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters beckon swimmers and provide the perfect conditions for sailing, water skiing and all watersports under the sun. Yet a complete contrast awaits in the cool, pine-covered mountains of Troodos, the highest mountain of Cyprus, with delightful hill resorts and traditional hotels.
Seasons in Cyprus AUTUMN (October–November) As the land mellows in Cyprus’ Autumn, there is a wonderful clarity of air on those balmy days, still warmed by the brilliant Cyprus sun. The sea temperature is still high after the long hot summer, and for some this is the best season of all. The autumn in Cyprus is short and mild, with average daytime temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius. WINTER (December-January) Cyprus’ Winter season brings some much-needed rain to the land, but most of its days are bright and sunny. And there is short snow season on the mountains from January to March, with fun to be had by all ages from tobogganers to serious skiers. During Cuprus’ Winter, one is able to bask on sandy beach and within an hour embark on a skiing adventure in the Troodos mountains
AYIA NAPA – PROTARAS Once sleepy fishing villages, Agia Napa on the south-east coast with its fabulous beaches of fine white sand, and Protaras, the coastal area of Paralimni, in the east with its hundreds of windmills, nowadays buzz with life. Spend the day sunning yourself on the beach, swimming in the warm turquoise waters or taking a short cruise along the coast. Some of the best snorkelling and diving can be had off Cape Gkreko, the eastern peninsula national forest park, with its secluded coves and rocky outcrops, impressive cliff top views and sea caves. Tour program NICOSIA, TROODOS AND KYKKOS MONASTERY We will go to the only divided Capital in the world. ‘Lefkosia’, situated near the center of the Island, is the ideal City for you to find your holiday bargains! We enter Lefkosia (also called Nicosia) by driving along the Green Line, the capital’s dividing borderline. Passing by the newly restored Famagusta Gate. Our tour continues to the picturesque old quarter of “Laiki Yitonia” where you will have time for lunch and a stroll around the charming winding alleyways lined with numerous traditional houses, shops and galleries.Visit the spectacular Troodos Mountains and gaze down from Mount Olympus, the highest point on the island. The world-renowned Kykko Monastery, not only the richest (golden mosaics, ancient icons, various religious relics), but also the largest and most prestigious active monastery in Cyprus. Don't miss the famous icon of Panayia Eleousa (Most Merciful Virgin Mary), painted by St Luke and believed "to produce miracles."
PAPHOS AND APHRODITE’S ROCK TOUR Once the ancient capital of Cyprus under the Romans, today Paphos is a delightful resort brimming with ancient history and mythological enchantment. It is one of the most attractive and contrasting regions in Cyprus and is ideal for combining the pleasures of sightseeing with a relaxing beach holiday. Paphos is a treasure trove of antiquities and scattered with so many places of historical and archaeological interest that UNESCO has added the whole town to its list of Cultural World Heritage sites. Just a few of its treasures include the beautifully preserved mosaics in the House of Dionysos, the mysterious Tombs of the Kings and the ancient Odeon Theatre. According to legend, Aphrodite, the goddess of love, was born from the sea at Petra tou Rominou, and the rock marking her birthplace became a place of pilgrimage for several centuries.
LIMASSOL AND KOURION TOUR Our first stop will be at the ancient city of Kourion, a naturally beautiful spot perched high on the cliff top. Admire the famous Greco-Roman theatre and mosaics and enjoy the dazzling view . Then we will continue to Limassol, where we will spend time by the seafront, have lunch and enjoy the nature and hospitality
LARNACA SEAFRONT AND LEFKARA TOUR The village of Lefkara is famous for handmade lace known as ‘Lefkaritika’, and also its silverware. It is said that Leonardo Da Vinci visited the village and bought an altar cloth here which he donated to the Milan Cathedral.We will have free time for a walk and buy few souvenirs for friends and family. Then we’ll drive to Larnaca where we will visit the Salt Lake and see the Hala Sultan TekkeMosque.Our trip will continue to the center and visit the St. Lazarus church in the heart of the old city of Larnaca. The church dates from the 9th century and is one of the oldest in Cyprus. There you can see the tomb of the saint who lived in Kition after his resurrection by Christ. You will have a chance to spend some time browsing around the shops in the old townand walk the Palm trees Avenue.
Optional program AGIA NAPA – PROTARAS TOUR On the day of your arrival we will organize you an area tour in which you will visitProtaras central area, shops and restaurants, Cape Greco church and caves and then the famous Agia Napa where you will have time to walk under the city lights and enjoy the lovely music coming from the coffee shops, restaurant and pubs.

CYPRUS FOLKLORE NIGHT Join us for a very special night of entertainment in traditional Cypriot style. We will hold a re-enactment of a Traditional Cypriot dancing and singing, featuring customs and traditions centuries old.A band of folk dancers and musicians will present a colorful performance and we will give all participants a role to play along. You will not be able to resist joining in with the fun! You will be treated to a typical Cypriot buffet dinner, meze style, which consists of many delicacies that provide a satisfying and complete meal. So sit back and enjoy your Meze siga-siga or “slowly, slowly.” Your meal will be accompanied by unlimited local village wine.
BOAT TRIP We will head for the virgin caves which can only be accessed by sea. We proceed to Cape Greco, stopping on the way for a swim at Konnos Bay. En route we point out Fig Tree Bay and Protaras and view the ghost town of Ammochostos. A BBQ lunch will be served on board. In the afternoon you can try your luck at "Champagne Diving" in the crystal clear waters of Cape Greco before we return to the Ayia Napa harbour.
