Raw Materials • CO2 = Carbon Dioxide = 1 Carbon + 2 Oxygen • H2O = Water = 2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen
Step 1 • Carbon Dioxide enters the leaf through the stomata.
Step 2 • Water enters the plant through the roots.
Step 3 • Sunlight causes a chemical change.
Step 4 • Plant produces food for itself. The food is glucose, also known as sugar
Step 5 • Oxygen is released back into the atmosphere.
