  4. Baroque • Style of art began in 1600 in Rome, Italy. • Succes of this art style was encouraged by Roman Catholic Church. • Much more emotion, and more dramatic than Mannerism art. • Much more realistic than Mannerism art. • Includes lots of symmetry and 3D shapes. • Spread to most of Europe.
