  7. New SCI total figures 2011 • total SCI area : 72 874 451 hectares (+ 2,65 %) • total number of SCIs: 22 559 (+ 0,7 %) • % area of biogeographic regions (terrestrial part):

  8. other changes to the Union Lists a) “Community lists” / “Community level” > “Union Lists” / “Union level” (no change to “Sites of Community Interest”) b) Geographic site coordinates now in decimal-degrees last minute corrections • corrected spelling of the site name of site ES2200043 : ‘Robledales de Ultzama y Basaburua’ b) area of site ITB032219 corrected : + 3 hectares (new area: 251 ha)

  9. Deadline forsubmitting databases to the Commission for the next update of the Union lists (2012 update) : 30 September 2011
