Vignette 4 & 5 • On your own, read the last two vignettes and fill in the information in the graphic organizer on page 26. • What do we notice about each of these speakers? • How does the voice differ in each vignette? Think of our terms. • Which vignette uses similes and metaphors as imagery?
Homework: Page 32 • Writing Prompt: Write a paragraph explaining how the voice of one of the speakers helps to shape the reader’s response (how are you able to understand what the speaker is saying through the voice). • Create questions that Bob Green may have asked. • Follow up questions you would like to ask. • Due next class period.
