Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Costly Worship • Repent and seek God’s forgiveness. • Apologize to the children for failing to make your home a place of consistent Christian worship. • Get a calendar and lay out a schedule. • Have the children buy into the schedule. • Begin the worship with songs of praise. Make it joyful. • Give the children training on musical instruments.
Costly Worship • Read the Word. Have an open Bible for every child and have each one take a turn reading. • Develop a prayer list, key items your family is burdened to carry in prayer. • Train the littlest ones to participate quietly. • Do not alter your schedule if you have guests. • Parents, this is your congregation. You are responsible for these souls.
