  2. Brazil is approximately • Latitude: 22 deg. South • Longitude: 43 deg. West Trip dates: June 13th to 22nd 2009 I plan to spend 10 days in a journey, exploring Brazil for my dream vacation.   3. Brazil • There are many reasons to encourage myself to travel to Brazil. For one, it has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Not only does it have a beach, It also has a magnificent rainforest that is home to many species that are on the verge of extinction. It seems to be a perfect place to explore many once in a lifetime experiences and opportunities.

  4. Day 1 • I plan to head to Philadelphia for a flight at 8:05am departing to Atlanta Georgia Georgia which will be arriving at 10:45am. • There will be a long layover therefore, I will explore the airport and wait until 9:35pm to depart from there and take a 9 hour and 44 minute plane ride to Rio de Janeiro. • I will be arriving at 8:19am and I will be ready to start a fun vacation. I plan on staying at Sheraton Barra Hotel &Suites in their largest suite rooms.

  5. Day 2 • Check in hotel and settle in room • Check out pool for a few hours • Hit up famous Copacabana Beach. • Have dinner • Go clubbing at club Baronneti till late and pass out back at the hotel.

  6. Day 3 • I would wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. • Next activity is shopping at the Botafogo Praia Shopping Centre for the entire day. Botafogo Praia is a large shopping complex that features many international designers. • I would eat dinner at a fine Brazilian restaurant and head out in search for the best bars in Rio.

  7. Day 4 Breakfast Hotel pool and another famous beach must be explored: Ipanema Beach Lunch Museums: Casa do Pontal (Brazilian folk-art), Forte de Copacabana (Fort built in 1914 and was Rio’s premier defense). Dinner Movie at the hotel

  8. Day 5 • Breakfast • Main attraction sight is Cristo Redentor. A statue of Christ lies on top of the mountain of Corcovado.You can get here by car or by taxi, but the best way is to go up in the cog train or cable cars. • Lunch • Surf lessons • Nap at hotel before a long night • Clubbing

  9. Day 6 • Breakfast • Day at the Spa • Dinner at an exclusive restaurant • Good night sleep for a long day

  10. Day 7 • Breakfast • Take rental car for hiking through Tijuca’s rain forests. The Tijuca Forest is home to hundreds of species of plants and wildlife, many threatened by extinction. • Dinner and dancing at famous club 00

  11. Day 8 • Last day in Rio de Janeiro • Breakfast • Finish sight seeing. Trip to the zoo (JardimZoologico) • Shopping at Rios largest mall Barra, and ClubeChocolate. • Pack for journey home • Mini bar in hotel room

  12. Day 9 • Travel home • Departure from Rio de Janeiro 10:10pm • Arrive at Atlanta Georgia at 7:05am • Depart at 8:40 and arrive in Philadelphia at 10:55am
