  2. 1st Step: Choose Two Destinations Use the internet and Web 2.O tools to research destinations for vacation. You must choose two destinations outside the state of Georgia and in the Intercontinental United States to visit.

  3. 2nd Step: Find Distance Use mapquest.com to find the distance in miles from Woodland High School to both of your destinations. Record distances in Blank Spreadsheet Use schools address: 800 North Moseley Drive Stockbridge, GA 30281

  4. 3rdStep: Find Flight Cost Go to Delta.com and find the cost of flights to each of your destinations from Atlanta. If you flight first class to Destination A make sure you fly First Class to Destination B. Record Your flight cost in the appropriate section of your spread sheet.

  5. 4th Step: Airport Parking When you fly to each of your destinations you have to take into consideration the cost of parking at the airport. For your project use $15 a day for six days. Record appropriate information into spreadsheet.

  6. 5th Step Fuel Cost Now we will calculate the cost of driving by finding out our fuel cost. Use the miles you found in step 1 and 25 mpg to determine the fuel cost to each destinations. Use: http://www.travelmath.com/fuel-cost/ Record information into spread sheet.

  7. 6th Step: Find Hotel Now that you have arranged your travel you now need to find somewhere to stay. Use the internet to find a hotel to stay at for 5 nights at each of your destinations. Try to stay at comparable places at both destinations. Record your into spreadsheet.

  8. 7th Step: Conclusion Examine the data you found in your spreadsheet and determine which is the most cost efficient trip to go on. Answer questions below: Why was your cheapest trip the cheapest? What factors influenced the cost of the trip? What factors could greatly change the cost of your trips? (ex. M.P.G of your car)
