  2. Where do honeybees live? You can find honeybees in Africa, Europe and northern and western Asia. They also live in North and South America. Honeybees don’t live near the north and south pole because it’s too cold. (Kian & Kajal)

  3. Where Do Honeybees Live? • Honeybees live in colonies. • Honeybees live in a tree or hollow log. • They live in hives made out of wax. (Hiral & Bhavya)

  4. The life cycle of a honey bee • The queen honeybee lays a egg in a clean empty cell. • A worker bee feeds the larva. • A fully grown larva becomes a pupa. • The worker bee seals the cell. • The new winged adult is born. (Armin & Christian)

  6. What jobs do honeybees have? • The bee collects pollen on their body and they transferred it to the stigma to produce seeds. • Worker bees guard the honey and the queen bee from outside.

  7. How Honeybees Depend on Flowers • Getting pollen from flowers by going flower to flower • To get vitamins from flowers to feed to pupa so that they can have a bigger colony • To get nectar from flowers so they can make honey • They need pollen so they can feed it to pupa/larva (Katie & Peter)
