Economic needs • Economic needs had led to most inventions. These are agriculture, (A.K.A, farming) business, (like Mic Donald's) and industry (like the robotic hand). These inventions include not only the thousands of devices and machines used in agriculture, but also many kinds of processes and products. More Economic Needs • In 1733, John Kay, an English clockmaker, invented a weaving machine called the flying shuttle. The flying shuttle allowed weavers to produce cloth much faster than spinners could supply with thread. The textile industry either had to find many more spinners or speed up the waving processes.
Military needs • War and threat of war have always stimulated invention. A nation at war encourages it’s inventors to create new weapons that will be more destructive than those of the enemy. But war has also led to many inventions that have valuable peacetime uses.
Social Needs • Social needs have brought about thousands of inventions and discoveries. Many of these inventions and discoveries. Many of these inventions and discoveries have eased threats to health and have prolonged life. Others have made life easier and more comfortable.
